all the food was super yummy! my bf and i enjoy họ care style food since there aren't any in sd. i love that it's a chain with many locations. ambiance is like a normal asian restaurant, busy and loud. i liked their different and unique choices like the fried beef stew! can't wait to come back

Really yummy food! We got the baked sole fillet with rice. The fish was delicious but I wish there was either more of it or more sauce because the ratio is kind of off. In the end, we were just eating plain rice. We had ordered take out and also ordered the pan fried rice noodle rolls. But we weren't told that they were out of it until we had already received our order and had to ask them where the rest of our meal was. But the workers were super nice in helping is figure out what happened. And we were able to get that dish refunded.

I actually really enjoy this place! Usually I'm not the biggest fan of Hong Kong cuisine but this place is worth it. Usually really busy on the weekends but thankfully lots of parking space as the cafe is situated in a plaza. Their price is really reasonable and I usually get their shrimp wonton noodle soup. I also recommend their Osmanthus oolong milk tea. I always love introducing people to this place since it's just a nice casual environment.

Nestled in Walnut, this charming and cozy Hong Kong cafe offers comfort and a wide variety of Hong Kong food delights. It caters to big groups and family outings, as I saw a lot of families like mine enjoying their meals. There is something for everyone and the extensive menu caters to a wide range of tastes, from sweets like the famous HK egg waffle to club sandwiches, fried noodles, rice dishes, baos, and more, all at reasonable prices! During my recent visit, I ordered a Hot Pot Soup which came with a side of rice, a Steak Sizzling Plate which came with Mushroom Sauce and Pasta, Popcorn Chicken, and Mango Green Tea with Aloe. Each dish arrived piping hot and within an impressive fifteen minutes and all their team members speak Mandarin Chinese + English and are very friendly. For a cozy, family-friendly dining experience with generous portions, I'll definitely be back soon!

The food was all authentic. We also ordered shrimp hargao but too hungry to take a pic. It takes longer to arrive as it's made to order. The portions were generous for the price. Everything was delish. The ambiance was nicely decorated and it makes you feel lol you're in hongkong. Will definitely be back again. I do would like to see the resto become more ecofriendly

Hubs enjoys Hong Kong cafes and wanted to check this one out. He ordered the salt and pepper pork chop lunch special, which comes with a drink choice; he chose the iced tea with lemon. The pork chops were flavorful and not too salty. He ate it all up. I went with the Beef Chow Fun and asked them to make it gravy style. The dish arrived hot. It was good, but wished there was more of the wok hei flavor to the noodles. Kiddo wasn't too hungry, so she went with fries and popcorn chicken. Both also arrived hot; the fries could've used a little salt. The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed our dishes overall. The menu has quite a bit to choose from. We'd return to try other items.

We stopped by for dinner and really enjoyed our experience. The servers were very friendly and patient with us. I ordered the Pork Xiao Long Bao and the Pork Shumai. They told me it was going to take a while which was fine. Once it arrived, it was worth the wait. The meat was cooked to perfection in both the XLB and the Shumai. I kinda wished the XLB had more broth inside but they were still delicious. Overall, this was a nice place to eat.

I recently ordered delivery from Hong Kong Cafe in Walnut and had a mixed experience. The standout dish for me was the beef tongue rice. The beef tongue was incredibly tender and flavorful, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. The rice complemented the dish well, absorbing the savory juices from the beef tongue. However, I found the Hong Kong milk tea and coffee to be too sweet for my taste. It overpowered the natural flavors of the tea and coffee. If you prefer less sweetness, you might want to ask for less sugar when you order. The delivery arrived on time and the food was still hot, which is always a plus. The packaging was secure, ensuring there were no spills. Overall, despite the overly sweet drinks, the food quality was excellent, and I highly recommend trying their beef tongue rice. Will definitely be ordering from them again, but will customize my drink order next time!
